YOUNG PARENTS' PROGRAMMING

“Putting young parents first”

While we know that caring for babies and children is very important, at PPT’s Young Parents program, our focus is on parents, to make sure that they have the services and tools they need to make healthy, informed decisions for themselves and their families.  Our TimeOut program, a weekly drop-in for young parents and parents-to-be, gives moms and dads a chance to hang out with other young parents, have some time to relax, and learn, from the special guests from PPT and other community agencies, about things like healthy eating, career options, and parenting skills.  At PPT Health Services, we offer prenatal services for pregnant women between 13 and 29, and we can help parents to access health services for their kids.  Our workshops for young parents offer information on healthy sexuality, helping young parents to make informed decisions about their health.
