Planned Parenthood Toronto offers a wide range of workshops for different communities throughout the city to promote healthy sexuality and informed decision-making.  Our workshops include:

Planned Parenthood Toronto offers a range of workshops for youth in community settings, such as high schools, youth shelters, group homes, community centres, and recreational settings, that promote healthy sexuality and informed decision-making.  Our goal is to give youth the information and skills that they need to make the most informed decisions for themselves.  Our workshop topics for youth include:

 

  • Building Healthier Relationships
  • Healthy Sexuality
  • Birth Control Options (including emergency contraception)
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Sexual Readiness and Safer Sex Negotiation

Planned Parenthood Toronto knows that there are many barriers that young men face when trying to access health services.  Our workshops try to break down some of those barriers.  Our workshops can be presented in a range of community settings, such as youth shelters, group homes, community centres, and recreational settings, and aim to promote healthy sexuality and informed decision-making.  Our workshop topics include:

 

  • The Construction of Masculinity
  • Healthy Sexuality
  • Building Healthier Relationships
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Sexual Readiness and Safer Sex Negotiation
  • Men’s Role in Birth Control

Planned Parenthood Toronto offers a series of Healthy Sexuality Workshops especially geared for young parents.  These workshops can be offered in community settings such as community centres, group homes, youth shelters, and recreational settings.  The workshops cover topics including:

 

  • Healthy sexuality
  • Healthier relationships
  • Sexually transmitted infections
  • Birth control
  • Self-esteem

 

These workshops focus specifically on issues that are relevant for young parents, including fatherhood and relationships between parents, and how to deal with relationships with other family members.
