Planned Parenthood Toronto is a fully accredited community health centre that provides primary health care services to youth 13 to 29 years as well as health promotion programming, education, training and research to improve the health and well being of Toronto’s diverse communities. We are currently seeking Physician locums to work at our dynamic clinic for youth aged 13 - 29. We can offer one shift per month, or more if you are interested. Working as part of the interdisciplinary care, the successful candidate will provide have the opportunity to provide care to clients on a variety of issues, including primary and sexual health care.
Qualifications include:
• License to practice medicine and membership in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario;
• Demonstrated ability to work with youth in areas of primary, sexual & reproductive health care, mental health and prenatal care.
• Commitment to working cooperatively in a community-based setting as part of a inter-disciplinary team of staff, volunteers and students.
• Proficiency and experience working with electronic health records an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to pro-choice philosophy.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity goals and principles, sexual and reproductive rights and to being youth positive, LGBTQ positive and sex positive.

PRIMARY HEALTH CARE NURSE PRACTITIONER (RN-EC) LOCUM
Hourly, Casual, on-call basis $46.15/hour

We are currently seeking RNEC Locums to work at our Community Health Center for youth (13 to 29 years of age).
Qualifications include:
· BscN or equivalent, and registration with the CNO as an RN-Extended Class;
· Ability to provide primary and sexual health care to clients of The House during drop in setting 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm and/or by appointment during the day.
· Demonstrated ability to work with youth in areas of primary, sexual & reproductive health care;
· Commitment to working cooperatively in a community-based setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team of staff, volunteers and students;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency and experience working in a computerized environment
· Commitment to pro-choice philosophy
· Demonstrated commitment to equity goals and principles, sexual and reproductive rights and to being youth positive, gay positive and sex positive
