Need a physical? An STI test? Pregnant? Looking for birth control options? Need to talk to a therapist? Have questions about sex or sexuality? Are you a young man with specific health questions? A young parent, or parent-to-be, looking for support? We have health services created especially for youth ages 13-29!
For your reproductive and sexual health, we offer peer education on birth control, parenting options, STI testing and lots more for women throughout their reproductive years. We provide workshops on healthy sexuality issues for women in the shelter system and health promotion programming for women who have sex with women.
We have health services that are LGBTQ-positive, an anti-homophobia education program called T.E.A.C.H., and health promotion programming for women who have sex with women.
We can make accessing services easier for you! We offer translation for our health services, we hold workshops in a number of languages, and we continue to create partnerships around the city to meet your needs.

PPT Named as A Beneficiary of the 2013 Pride and Rememberance Run!

Every year the Pride and Remembrance Run in Toronto seeks applications from LGBTQ- serving organizations for projects to be funded through the donations raised by the event, which is held annually during Toronto’s Pride Week. PPT is thrilled to have been named one of the beneficiaries of this year’s Run, for our “Filling in the Blanks: A Sexual Health Re-education Project.” This project will engage youth from diverse LGBTQ communities to address the lack of relevant, accessible sexual health education for LGBTQ youth through the development and delivery of peer-led sexual health education workshops and resources.

Volunteer Opportunity! The Pride and Remembrance Run is helping us, and we’re asking you to join us in helping them! PPT is committed to having 25 people volunteer at the Run and we hope you’ll be able to help us fulfill our commitment. This year’s Run will be taking place the morning of Saturday, June 29th. Volunteers will need to be available from approximately 8:30am-12:30pm on the day of the event. If you are interested in volunteering on behalf of PPT, please contact Anna Penner at (416)961-0113 x.157 or apenner@ppt.on.ca by May 31st to sign up for the PPT volunteer contingent.
